Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you fill in a form we collect what you type: your name, your company, your email, your phone number and a few details about your vehicles. We also see basic things about your visit, like which pages you looked at and which advert or link brought you here.
What we do with it
We use it to answer you, to work out a price, to send you anything you asked for, and to make this website better. We only send you marketing emails if you said yes, and every email has a one-click way to stop them.
Information from vehicles
The information a tracking box sends from a customer's vehicles belongs to that customer, not to us. We only handle it to run the service they pay for. We never sell it.
Cookies
Cookies are tiny files a website leaves on your device. We use them to see how the site is used and whether our adverts work. You can turn them off in your browser settings.
Who else sees it
Only companies that help us run things, such as the people who host the website, send our emails and count our visitors, plus our local MGFleet partner if they look after your country. We do not sell your details to anyone.
Chats on this site
We keep chats with the assistant for 30 days. In that time we use them to answer you, to pass your message to an advisor if you ask us to, and to teach the assistant to answer better. After 30 days the chat is wiped for good: the messages, your name, your email and your phone number are deleted and cannot be brought back, and only anonymous counts are left. If you ask us to call you, we keep those contact details separately as an enquiry, as described above. If you tell the assistant you are already a customer, we email the chat to our support team so they can help you, and we keep that email with our normal support records.
How long we keep it, and your say
We keep your details only as long as we need them for the reasons above, or as long as the law says we must. You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete what we hold. Just email info@mgfleet.com.
