GPS tracking is a small device installed in a vehicle that reports its position, speed and ignition state over the mobile network. MGFleet, built in Nassau by Mobile Garage Technologies Ltd., turns those reports into a live map, a replayable trip history, geofence alerts and usage reports for fleets across The Bahamas.
The device reads the vehicle, not the driver's phone
A tracker is installed in the vehicle and wired to its power and ignition. It knows when the engine starts, where the vehicle goes, how fast it travels and when it stops — with no app for a driver to forget, disable or leave at home.
Position is sent continuously while moving
While the ignition is on, position updates flow to the platform every few seconds, so the map is a live picture rather than a snapshot taken every half hour.
Out of coverage, it keeps recording
On a Family Island run or in a dead spot the device stores the trip on board and sends it once signal returns. The route fills itself in rather than leaving a gap.
Rules do the watching for you
Geofences around a yard, depot or customer site, plus speed and after-hours rules, raise an alert on their own. Nobody has to sit staring at a map to find out something happened.
